POLI 815-683-489Final paper: playing with dataStudents are tasked with preparing a final paper using one of the data sources listed below to answer a question raised in the course or to expand on results presented in the readings. The objectives are to familiarize students with working with data sets, to understand the challenges and opportunities of existing data, and to think about how to generate research questions using the literature. This assignment is not about getting it "right" but about making an effort to do something new and getting excited about the process. Grading and format will reflect this approach.PhD and MA students will complete this assignment individually. MPPPA students and advanced undergraduates will work in groups of two (individual work is also accepted).Deliverables and deadlinesDeliverablesDeadlineValueProposalOctober 11, 2024.5 pointsWorkshopNovember 27, 2024.5 pointsFinal paperTo be negotiated with the group.25 pointsDatasetsPapers must explore one of the following datasets.
