Document A and Document CResponse: The art of the Middle Ages reflects the events and ideas of the Middle Ages because there was a time before that where suffered “a period of intellectual depression” According to A Dictionary Entry for the dark ages. But going into the early Middle Ages art and culture is flourishing. Manyworthy innovations being contributed. With art flourishing, paintings were influenced, and according to Document C: Painting influenced by Ancient Greek and roman artists. Question 3: Is "the Dark Ages" an appropriate term to describe the Middle Ages? Document A and Document B Response: According to “A dictionary Entry for the Dark Ages” the dark ages wouldn’t be the appropriate term because it gives the assumption that times were truly dark when really it was just a time that was lacking in severe innovation and inspiration. There was also several disagreements and tensions rose with the king abusing his power, citizens sought reform and a charter was written.
