2In this complicated case, the facility's administrator is presented with two major issues: staff monitoring and ethical dilemma. The staff are featured to have failed to notice the developing relationship between the residents and intervene before it escalates into a major issue. This shows a lack of effective supervision and monitoring of the residents. The other problem is the ethical dilemma. The administrator faces a moral dilemma as he has to balance the residents' rights to engage in a relationship and the need to protect residents from potential harm. This is complicated as the residents that are involved in the love triangle have been diagnosed with dementia, which leads to questions about the ability to provide informed consent. One change to the human resource policies facility to increase the efficiency of staff monitoring of the residents can be through providing comprehensive training on addressing and recognizing different interpersonal relationships with the residents. This can be accomplished by training on how to identify other signs of developing relationships, assess the resident's ability to engage in different relationships, and how to intervene when needed (Libraries, 1) effectively. From this, the facility's administrator and staff should learn the significance of balancing autonomy, respecting the residents, and ensuring their safety. They are supposed to understand the importance of effective monitoring and early intervention to prevent issues in the facility from escalating. The case is also important as it provides the significance of clear guidelines and policies for handling some major problems. This will ensure that the facility operates effectively. My rationale for the suggestion is that through improved staff training, the organization will ensure that its staff can handle any issues that come their way. This will be key to preventing such problems from occurring in the facility.
