Describe the four types of event funding. •Cultural event is when there is entrance ticket, parking, income from renting pitches for the various stands, money raised from various games and charitable donations. •Leisure event can be referred when government agencies such as sport council, local government fund for sporting events or support from sports sponsors and broadcasters. •Personal event is when there is no direct income and is paid for by the people getting married or their families with donations of presents and other useful things. •Organizational event also has no direct income and is paid within a particular budget determined by the organization. 3. Explain any three common budgeting mistakes. Common budgeting mistakes occur when there is not involving everyone concerned in the budget preparation and fail to identify the full range of costs accurately. Next, is when ignoring the objectives of the event when setting the budget. Lastly, by being over-optimistic over demand for the event or fail to find a venue with enough capacity to do it properly. 4. Discuss two categories of events. •Personal events are used for individuals who can book venue such as wedding, birthday, and anniversary. It also used for individuals who want certain guests to arrive at the venue. •Leisure event involves managing facilities like sports grounds, recreation centres, parks, and entertainment venues. Also, it can involve managing a celebration or festival, sporting contest or concert. 5. List four types of events. −Conferences −Meetings −Training days −Product launches
