In our facility, we do have a formal mediation process that is designed to provide a structured approach for resolving conflicts. This process is overseen by trained mediators who are familiar with our policies and the specific dynamics of our workplace. While individual managers are encouraged to address conflicts at their level, they can also refer the more complex or sensitive issues to the mediation team. This ensures that conflicts are handled with impartiality and professionalism. The formal mediation process includes initial assessments, joint meetings, and follow-up sessions to ensure that agreements are upheld and that the resolution is effective (Jones, 2024).Having a structured mediation process not only provides clarity and consistency but also fosters a culture of open communication and collaboration (Hernandez, 2024). It empowers employees to address their concerns in a supportive environment, ultimately leading to better outcomes and strengthened relationships among team members. Hernandez, C. (2024, October 2).
