In Internet marketing, marketing is highly dependent on data-gathering instruments like cookies and algorithms to make advertisements more relevant to customers. Though helpful for targeting, these strategies are seriously disadvantageous to consumers' privacy. Lack of knowledge and awareness of how personal data is gathered, processed, or disseminated is another key issue of GDPR because it provides worry about data transparency and possession.Legal bills such as the GDPR and the CCPA have given organizations aiming to make use of personal details specific regulations to adhere to. These laws empower these consumers to get control of their information and make that information inaccessible, forcing the companies to practice better behaviors and more transparency (Shehu & Shehu,2023). However, these measures are not well implemented, and businesses face challenges in balancing between satisfying the requirement for privacy and creating value for their target markets. The use of privacy concerns in marketing strategies can help improve and foster consumer trust. Platforms such as Google Analytics 4 provide solutions that reduce data dangers to acceptable levels while sustaining proper tracking (Ikegwu et al., 2022.). Marketing relevant information with ethical practices, privacy policies, and responsibility is critical to cover marketing necessities around privacy that help to develop trust and meet legal and moral standards. In Internet marketing, marketing is highly dependent on data-gathering instruments like cookies and algorithms to make advertisements more relevant to customers.
