own core worldview beliefs. Respond to the questions about your own beliefs in your own
words, and not necessarily what you think the Christian worldview believes. Keep this document
intact and only add your answers in the box under each question.

I believe in the nature of ultimate reality, because God has guided and protected me my

victim of the system and the Lord saw me through it all.
2.
What is your belief about the nature of the universe? Why?
Your answer in two to three sentences:
I believe the nature of the universe was man made because everything around us has to be
build one way or another, And just like we exist now and move on to better places in the
after life why do we question that this is how it begins?
3.
What is your belief about human nature and the afterlife? Why?
Your answer in two to three sentences:
My belief in human nature is that we were all born to serve one purpose and that’s to be
kind to one another. I belief when we pass away it isn’t the end for us just not sure if we
become angles or are reincarnated.

Theism is the belief in the existence of God who intervenes in the universe.
I believe I’m a little pantheism and theism although I believe in God and the higher power,
I don’t necessarily agree that the universe is identical but maybe God does intervene in the
universe depending on the good or bad decisions we choose.
5.
What is your basis for determining moral right from moral wrong? Why?
Your answer in two to three sentences:
Determining moral right from wrong is a complex process that often depends on including
cultural religious and personal beliefs, because we must take into consideration with
fairness and respect that we were all raised different and see things differently.
6.
What is your belief about human purpose? Why?
Your answer in two to three sentences:
That all humans have their own purpose and we should all work hard to learn what our
purpose is, I’ve always wanted to help people and started a career in the medical field
believing that was my purpose when the whole time is was to be helping kids and I am so
much happier for it.
Part 2: Evaluation
1.
Your answers to the questions in Part 1 form the basis of your worldview. Now that you have
articulated your worldview, evaluate it according to the practical test described in Chapter 2
of the textbook and the topic overview. Which of the three worldviews most closely matches
your core beliefs as you answered in Part 1? Does your worldview pass the practical test for
livability? Why or why not? Provide a clear explanation of the workability and practical
value in the most important areas of life and experience.
Your answer in 200-300 words:
The worldview that matches my core beliefs the best would have to be Theism and
Pantheism. I believe that my worldview does pass the practical test for livability. Starting
with the moral code of determining what is right and wrong. The Ten Commandments are
an attainable way of life. They state that one should not steal, cheat, lie, murder, put any
other gods before God himself, take the Lord’s name in vain, be jealous or do things out of
jealousy, as well as honor your parents, Many of the commandments are already laws put
into place by our government. Honoring your parents should come easy, depending on the
parents you may have had. I know some would disagree with that aspect, but if one
considered the love God has for all his children regardless of sin, this may help them with
that. One of the most challenging parts of my worldview for some would be the
commandment of covet. Jealous can be a terrible monster but it is something that can be
mastered. I feel as though fulfilling our purpose in life to be God’s children and spread

2.
Reflect on your current understanding of the Christian faith. In other words, what is the
essence of the Christian worldview? How does one become a Christian? Your response will
need to articulate your understanding of Christian beliefs and does not require you to believe
it.
Your answer in 200-300 words:
A Christian worldview centers around the belief that God
created the universe and everything in it, and that he is a
loving and merciful being who sent his son to earth to die for
his sins, to become a Christian one needs to accept Jesus as
one’s savior by acknowledging one’s need for redemption,
studying the bible and committing to live a life aligned with
Christians teachings, this process can be accomplished by
acts of prayer baptism and joining a church community.
It's

wisdom of Jesus Christ
