Iowa State University is home to many astounding buildings that have tested the sands of time. As you walk through campus you may see the Old Farmhouse building that houses a great museum or the grand buildings of Beardshear and Curtis halls, but one building that you should direct your attention to rather than just walk by every day, as I had done in the past, to truly understand its history and meaning, is Catt Hall. This building has gone through many decades of change and accomplishment and is

A freshly-baked chocolate chip cookie and a warm smile was all it took for me to realize what true hospitality looks like. As I visited Baylor for the first time, I became surrounded not only by a beautiful campus but also a rich campus community. At Baylor, strong academics is just one part of a larger mission, where students are truly dedicated to both leadership and service. As someone who is passionately involved in my school, church, and community, I believe that I represent what it means to
I want to be part of the Rice Community because of the welcoming environment. I attended Rice for a day and an Open House with my parents and felt the students were really nice. All of the Rice students have been very friendly and positive. The athletics, clubs, and activites also look like a lot of fun and a great way to participate. I am currently attending Mater Christi which also has a small, energetic, and supportive enviroment that has allowed me to thrive and make great friends. I think
challenging and stretched my thinking further than I thought possible. Through my AP European History curriculum I have been offered the opportunity to travel across Europe this summer, it’s something I've been hoping for all of high school. I can see myself cheering on the Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium and participating in casual debate with peers

I chose to research Seton Hill University of Greensburg, PA, because just after hearing about it, it grabbed my attention immediately. I had never heard about the school until only two weeks ago. The person representing the school at a college fair was very happy to see us come to the table and was eager to hear what we were looking for in a college. When I told him I was interested in Theatre he almost jumped with excitement! He told me all about the great Theatre program at Seton Hill. Seton Hill

Who is Angel Perez II? I am Angel Perez and this is my first year at California State University San Bernardino. But how did I get here? It has been a long journey throughout the years. foods at the Kellogg’s Company in Battle Creek, Michigan. was so awesome. The University of Iowa is the first place that makes me curious more about this city. A bit different from peaceful place in Dubuque, The Iowa City offering a multicultural life style. The students come from around the world, many restaurants from different countries, book store and some cultural exhibitions are becoming my point of interest. Stay Iowa City make me feel going back to be a school girl. Here, I sit on the green grass in the front of the university building. As usual
From the moment that I first stepped foot on campus, I knew that Rice was going to be an amazing place to study, however by now it is much more than that; Rice feels like home to me. Above all else, one differentiating characteristic of Rice is the people that it attracts. The facility is full of world-class professors who are all welcoming and willing to put in extra effort to help the students succeed. The students are Rice, in addition to being smart, are some of the nicest and friendliest people
Georgetown has been my dream school since sophomore year of high school. I would like to study at Georgetown in particular because of my connections to the east coast and specifically Virginia. I currently live in El Paso, TX, which happens to be on the opposite side of the country from the majority of my extended family. My aunts, uncles, and grandparents all live along the east coast and some even live in Virginia. It would be wonderful to live closer to family, but even if that weren’t the case
Is Iowa State or Iowa a better team? Both teams are good in sports and have excellent colleges but when it comes down to it, I believe Iowa State is a better team because of their teamwork, conference and players that make up the team. Credit to Iowa for adjusting with new players, especially freshman. I think they’ve done a really good job basketball and football wise, but Iowa State has the mobility that makes them the better team. Everyone is involved. Iowa State junior quarterback Joel Lanning
