Sharks have existed for over 400 million years, predating insects, mammals and dinosaurs. Being the apex predators of the world’s seas, sharks have been keeping the population of the oceanic ecosystem in check. However, the number of sharks is considerably decreasing. One of the main reasons behind this is shark finning, the brutal and barbaric practice of cutting off sharks ' fins then throwing the rest of the body, often still alive, back into the sea. The practice of shark finning should be banned
Warsan Shire that I remember every time I see migrants in the news. It seemed to me that Shire 's quote is a profound statement putting all else in different standpoints. Hovering around the boards of the Larawan Kasaysayan Lipunan exhibit is a great deal of learning and allowed me to discover things. The exhibit has a contemporary relevance to the geographical or cultural spaces in the world making me realize things and inspired in many ways. Beyond the exhibit display, a holistic viewing experience
causes of overfishing. Hong Kong and China dominate over 50% of the shark fin market. Though shark fins are extremely profitable, it is estimated that global demands for Sharks Fins are 250% larger than what the oceans can sustainably support. A Great White has 300 teeth, however, not even that is a tad bit frightening compared to 100 million. 100 Million is the number of sharks
THE EVOLUTION OF THE CARCHARODON CARCHARIAS (SHARK) for my research task, I chose to study and track the evolution of the shark. These beasts being one of nature’s top predators in the world and dominating the oceans surrounding our continents. I chose these fierce creatures as they were a perfect example for me to use in explaining the evolution and the branching of evolution purely based on the fact that they have been around for millions of years through prehistoric times changing and evolving
Anatomy Their prolonged upper and lower jaws shape what is known as a platform, or nose, which gives the creature its basic name. The genuine, practical nose is the blowhole on top of its head; the nasal septum is unmistakable when the blowhole is open. Bottlenose dolphins have 18 to 28 cone shaped teeth on each side of each jaw. The flukes (flaps of the tail) and dorsal blade are framed of thick connective tissue and don't contain bone or muscle. The creature moves itself by moving the flukes all
Tool use and culture In any event some wild bottlenose dolphins utilize devices. In Shark Bay, dolphins put a marine wipe on their platform, probably to ensure it when hunting down sustenance on the sandy ocean floor, This has just been seen in this cove (first in 1997), and is prevalently honed by females. Ocean otters are the main other known marine mammalian device clients. A recent report demonstrated moms in all probability educate the conduct to their posterity, showing society (conduct gained

I went into Sand Sharks with incredibly low expectations after my recent viewing of Avalanche Sharks. But how much of a sequel Avalanche Sharks is can be a bit debatable. Both films are basically the same plot, down to the spring breakers and the mayor who doesn't want to close things down because the town needs the money. But that's it as Sand Sharks managed to do what Avalanche Shark failed at, being entertaining. Which goes to show that it's not budgets that makes entertaining films. Like Avalanche

In this journal, I will be characterizing Robie and predicting outcomes for Robie and Starbuck, the seal. G:

Well, apart from sand and other fish, you’d find lobsters moving forwards and backwards, performing their swaying lobster dance. This motion helps lobsters move through the water and quickly escape their predators. If they’re skilled enough dancers and can protect themselves from every threat, it’s
