Disney’s movie, Hercules, has many differences in comparison to "The Labours of Hercules" by David Creighton. Firstly, a substantial difference is Hercules’s birth and young life. As an infant, Hercules in "The Labours of Hercules" is born to Zeus and Alcmene: "The mother of Hercules was Alcmene, granddaughter of Perseus . . .
