Now I’m going to analyze in my opinion, Dennis Oppenheim’s most interesting sculpture Bus home. This sculpture is displayed at the Ventura bus stop. It’s meant to depict a bus transforming into a home. It’s made out of steel, concrete and acrylic paint. I believe that the act of the bus transforming into a home is a big reference to the journey to take on a bus that’s heading towards home. This sculpture is depicted in a corkscrew motion. I believe this can be interpreted as the journey being unpredictable
