Popocatepétl 19° N, 98° W - Satsang Adhikari Popocatepetl is located in Puebla, Mexico. It is a steep-sided stratovolcano, with the elevation of 5,426 meters, which is a part of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt that extends 900 km from east to west across central southern Mexico.
