Charles Mason
Charles Mason was a criminal and former cult leader. He went to trial multiple times and was finally put away for life. He was able to get many people to follow his evil cause and help him murder innocent people. Charles Manson is a name that most Americans know. There have been movies and tv shows about him. Even as he is serving his last days in prison there are still updates on his health. People are obsessed with knowing about him. People shouldn’t take so much interest in serial killers because it just gives them more satisfaction.

Their first murder was on August 9, 1969. It was at the home Roman Polanski house at 10050 Cielo Drive in Benedict Canyon, which was an area near Beverly Hills. ( "Charles Manson Biography." Biography) Manson needed someone he could trust to carry out this murder so he chose four of his most dedicated followers. Charles Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel and Linda Kasabian were the four he picked. Kasabian acted as the getaway driver. The victims that were targeted were actress Sharon Tate, who was pregnant with an eight and a half month baby at the time, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger; and celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring. They had returned to the house after going to dinner and then were brutally stabbed and shot to death by Charles Mason's crew of criminals. They had no reason to kill these innocent people. Atkins who was already in jail bragged to another when talking about the murder and said they did it "because we wanted to do a crime that would shock the world. The couple was a supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary. The couple was killed by Watson, Atkins, Krenwinkel and Van Houten. A man who had a connection with Charles Manson gave a tip to the police about the murders he had his people carry out. The trial begins and Charles Mason has carved the letter X on his forehead. Some of his followers did the same by carving an X on their forehead for their trial too. Manson and his crew were given the death penalty, but were later sentenced to life in prison due to California making the death penalty illegal in that state. Sheridan Miller Ms. Ohler English IV January 24, 2017 Notorious Serial Killer Ted Bundy was an American serial killer and a rapist. He is one of the most notorious criminals of the late 20th century. His real name is Theodore Robert Cowell. He was connected to at least thirty-six murders.
Ted Bundy was born November24, 1946 in Burlington, Vermont. Bundy grew up thinking his mother was his sister and his grandparents was his parents. Bundy was executed January 24, 1989 by Florida states penitentiary electric chair. As Bundy grows up he becomes disturbing due to the fact of he liked knives pornographic photos and liked to peep in peoples windows as women were getting undressed. When Bundy was a kid he laid knives all around his aunt as she slept in her bed she woke up and their Bundy was at the end of her bed with a smile on his face and staring at her they took Ted to a psychologist.
Manson actually did not participate in the killings in the night prior, but was keen to join in on the next murder “Because he felt there was not enough panic among the victims from the Tate Murder” (Helter Skelter). The group simply drove around in search of murder victims. They arrived in the neighborhood in which a home that they had visited a party for a year before which housed a Grocery store owner and his wife Leno and Rosemary Bianca. There is no solid evidence on the exact occurrences that night due to the fact from different accounts from the people involved. Manson along side Watson tied the couple up using a lampcord and pillowcase and convinced them they would be safe and that it was only a robbery.
The Zodiac Killer was a famous serial killer. The difference between the Zodiac killer and other serial killers was that he would taunt the police publicly by writing letters to numerous local newspapers. Police link him to at least five murders between 1968 and 1969, and possibly more. The zodiac killer had no specific M.O which made it difficult for law enforcement to narrow down a suspect. To this day, police and investigators have never arrested the suspect whom he named himself the Zodiac Killer.

An alleged police raid turned into a pivotal event in history that takes place Valentine's Day February 14th, 1929. The supposed killer of the massacre was Al Capone, also known as Scarface. He was one of the most famous gangsters during the 1920’s.
Elizabeth short was known to date numerous guys in a short period of time. In less than five months Short had moved eight times, living in nine different locations. Even though she moved a great deal of her life she was known to have stayed in a relationship. She moved so often because her multiple relationships never lasted very long. Elizabeth dressed usually with her hair curled, fitted outfits with black garments, makeup, and heels which could’ve made her an easy target to the killer.

His victims were often couples who were in secluded places around San Francisco. He received widespread media attention due to his habits of taunting the police and newspapers with coded messages.
The first murders that are seemingly connected to the Zodiac are the murders of 2 high school students. On December 20th 1968, on Lake Herman road shortly after 11:00 the bodies of Betty Lou Jensen and David Faraday were found. The Arthur of Zodiac, Robert Graysmith suggested that a car pulled into the turnout and parked next to the couple, just before 11:00. Jensen exited the car first and when Faraday was about halfway out, Faraday was shot in the head. Jensen tried to run but was shot 5 times through the back from 28 feet away.
Everyone has heard of the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. Theodore Robert Bundy was an American serial killer who many suspect has killed almost 100 young women and girls during the 1970s and possibly earlier. He was born Theodore Robert Cowell on November 24, 1946 at the Elizabeth Lund Home for Unwed Mothers. His mother was Eleanor Louise Cowell, who went by her middle name Louise. Ted never admitted to knowing who his father was but his mother had said it was a sailor she knew briefly as Jack Worthington.
