Both tribes have been dwelling on the desert for thousands of years. The culture, language, and pottery have many similarities and differences. The community has been together for over 130 years. The Ho-Chunk and the Cherokee both have many things in common with each other. Some of these similarities include they both have been pushed out of their land by settlers and have had to reorganize their way of life as a result of this. Both the HO-Chunk and the Cherokee do not live in the stereotypical tee pees, but rather in buildings such as houses or cabins. Also not all the Cherokee or Ho-Chunk people in the tribe live in the same area and have had to spread out over the years.. The inuit, Haidas, and iroquois are different in many ways, and I am here to explain them. First of all, they are the same in a way because they all are dedicated to hunting, but that is something that all tribes need to do to live. Next, it's fishing. I think it is a matter of history repeating itself, or in other words, learned behavior from past cultures, as well as difference in the ways of communication, and customs. Personally, I love to study the different cultures of the world because as students of history we must have an understanding of a culture, before can write about it, or more importantly preserve it. This is why it is very important for archivists to seek out education about different cultures because the world is very diverse, and everyone has a history that needs to be preserved for future generations.
Also, a ‘holy man’ could be a man or woman. Men and woman had pretty equal rights. Whenever times were peaceful, the village had a ‘white leader’, and whenever there was war, there was a ’red leader’. Fishing was a big food source for the Cherokee, they would even use walnut bark to poison the water so the fish would be easier to catch.

According to the story of Camp 14 in the 60 Minutes video, the prisoners were treated harshly as well. But they were not like the slaves because they were prisoners and they only worked for the government (camp). The slaves and prisoners both tried to escape from where they were at.
