1. How would you define psychology? When divorced psychology out as a science?
• The psychology has evolved from being "the doctrine of the soul" to become "the study of consciousness, perception and behavior."
Psychology is a science that is about understanding the human psyche and behavior, and that simultaneously explains why the human experience, feel, think and act as they do. The psychology consists of a wide variety of psychological schools.
The different directions are Psychoanalysis, Behaviorism, Evolutionary Psychology, Existential and Humanistic Psychology, Cognitive Psychology and Social Psychology. Psychoanalysis, which focuses on the unconscious and experiences / conflicts in childhood, was founded in the late 1800s and the

• The existential and humanistic psychology emphasizes that man through their choices have a freedom to create their own lives and shape their own identity.
8. Explain Maslow's needs theory.
• Maslow's needs theory is illustrated in a pyramid where the physiological needs are lower, and the psychological needs are further up. He says that the individual will not aspire to get the top needs covered until the bottom is met. The order is physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, the need for self-respect and the need for self-realization. 9.
