Had I known the things I known now, my freshman year would have gone a completely different way. My experiences that I have dealt with now help me formulate the words that I would tell to my freshman self. I would say to my freshman self you are on a mission, don’t let anything or anyone distract you from completing your mission. These four years are the most critical years of your life for they determine the course of your latter educational years. Freshman year is the base; it’s the foundation of your future. Just as a home without a solid foundation will fall you need to build your education on a firm foundation so that you will not fail in any circumstance, because once you fail it is hard to come back up. Prioritize what’s important.
“If you want to be seen, you need to show up” - Athena Hall “Freshman year doesn’t really matter but when you look back, you’ll thank yourself for putting in the hard work early on” -Richard Benito “Although it is tempting, you will be happy you did not drop out” - Francesca Riis-Poulsen “Always do your best, no one can ask for more nor should he expect less” -No one, ever. "Be yourself" - Katie Lemon "Do the work” -Jackson Snellman “Senioritis shouldn’t start until senior year” -Juliette Carpet “Don’t even” -Grace
Hello, I am Ryan Judge, and I have developed (with a group) a 6-week program to train a client for a 5k. A 5k is 3.1 miles, so it is an endurance run, something that is not meant to be done fast. In this essay, I am going to tell you about the fashion of our training program, and why me made it the way it is. The client that we made our 6-week training program for is a 13 year-old girl with no medical history.
Homeroom Reflection Junior year I have grown as a student this semester by watching the mala movie. This has helped me grow as a student because it showed me how just one voice can change so much in a community. From this experience I learned how Mala was an ordinary girl but who ones spoke up for what she believed was right for her community and the people all around her. After she started to change her community on a positive way for example, have more schools so students can have an education and making sure girls were able to attend school more often. Therefore, when she spoke up for what she thought was right and changed people 's life there was some who didn 't appreciate what she was doing so decided to shot her and ended up shooting her on her forehead.
From the five entries of “Letters to a Freshmen,” I got reminded of a lot of stuff I already knew and also found some helpful hints to get me through my first year. I learned that the best food at Wagoner is during breakfast time. Also, I learned that I need to write or type down nearly everything my professors say. The most important thing I learned was this, “Don’t get discouraged if you make a few bad grades here and there. ”I tend to get very discouraged if I score very low on a test or assignment.

Tips for Incoming Freshmen in High School In middle school and all of my previous years I thought my freshman year of high school was going to be the toughest/worst year of my entire life. Movies and TV shows make it seem as if all that’s going to happen to you will be negative. So far, my freshman year hasn’t at all been a negative experience. I just had to tell myself that this was going to be like every other school year and to not dread it so much.
1. Type 1 diabetes beginning symptoms often include, frequent urination, increased hunger, weight loss, blurry vision, dehydration, and tiredness (1). At first I was diagnosed with the flu as the symptoms are very similar, however after a urination and blood sugar test the results came back positive for type 1 diabetes. With Type 1 diabetes the body mistakenly attacks and destroys its beta cells, which produce insulin. As a result, the pancreas slows down its production of these beta cells and eventually stops producing them all together.

A few years ago, I did not know if I would be able to attend or afford to go to college. Having the opportunity to go to college and being able to better my education is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life so far. Reminiscing on my college adventure currently, I can say that even the little things instilled in me have changed in some sort of way. My college experience so far has altered my mind mentally and emotionally, but I have also grown more independent, self-disciplined, and less stressed. After relying on my parents for so many years, I felt that college could become the outlet for me to begin my journey to the route to independence.
The rite of passage that is most significant to me is “Just Be Yourself”. I have A few reasons on why this passage is most significant to me. My first reason why “Just Be Yourself” is most significant to me is to find out who you are. This reason of finding out who you are is that in the story “Just Be Yourself” is kind of talking about being yourself, like in middle school around that time, around that age you are looking for yourself.
The ways I have changed in high school in high school have been very important to me because they have changed my life in many ways. I have changed in lots of ways and those include my clothes and my style. Last year when I was in middle school I used to wear glasses and look all geeky, but this year I have changed both my style and my look. So this year I have totally reinvented myself by changing the way I dress and getting new clothes because I felt I was starting to look kind of stupid. Another thing I changed about me were my glasses because they were really uncomfortable and made feel weird.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
_About Radical The social movements of the 1960s and 1970s potentiated an engine of creative period in the architectural design, architectural theory, and architectural critic fields, especially for including the role of politics and technology. This transdisciplinary relation reappeared again in 2011, when global social protests and occupations like the Occupy Movement or the Arab Spring challenged the established system. In this regard, 2011 started a chain of civil disobedience and demonstrations through the virtual space, using the Internet to call for actions in the streets. Most of these events and groups were called “radical” and “dissident,” a word that was intonated with a negative feature.
I am a fourteen-year-old, small-town girl during the year of 1961. It is only spring in the town of Johnson, North Carolina, and already my summer vacation plans are ruined. There are only a couple more weeks left of school, and it seems as if summer break cannot get here fast enough. Because I will be stuck in the house for three months, I should not care whether there is a summer break or not. If only I had plans.
