They developed different machines like the steam engine or made improvements to transportation. Most of these took place in the homes of people and would use their own handmade tools or basic machines that they already had. In results of the industrial revolution a lot of changes occurred throughout the world the had a great impact on people’s lives. There was economic changes, social impacts, and political impact.

The Industrial Revolution was essentially an era of new manufacturing procedures and new manufactured goods. This period exposed us to a notable “great inventor” who was called Eli Whitney. He gave us the popular invention of the cotton gin which made the process of separating seeds from cotton easier and less time consuming. Whitney also introduced us to interchangeable parts which made the creation of weapons quicker and cheaper.

Lastly, document 4 states that industrialization made “not only travel at less expense but travels ten times quicker than two hundred years ago”.
