An ISP meeting was held on October 20, 2015 for Robbie at Houston County Association for Exceptional Citizens in Warner Robins, Georgia. All in attendance at the meeting was Robbie Chambless (Individual), Allen Glaser (Uncle), Rosemary Wright (Home Manager), Lester Ward (Social Worker) and Lashonda Turner (Support Coordinator/Facilitator). Robert was in a good mood. He was upbeat as he verbally expressed his desires for the future during the meeting. He was a little unresponsive to questions at times however when asked a question his verbalized his response with no problem. The team discussed Roberts current services and the supports he needs. Robbie and the team reviewed his HRST. According to the HRST, Robbie's medical diagnosis are exostosis of the medial malleolus, hypothyroidism, benign hand tremors, allergies and hypercholesteren. Robbie is under physician care for all diagnosis. He is currently prescribed four medications. Robbie's HRST needs to be updated to reflect correct medication dosage. As of 09.14.2015, Robbie's Levothyroxine Sodium (Synthroid) medication was increased to .88mcg. The changes need to be reflected on the HRST. The provider has been notified. The team reviewed all HRST considerations: Robbies current training considerations are in the area of nutrition and professional health care services. The team discussed the supports needed in the area of nutrition and the factors that impact Robbie's nutritional status. Robbie is currently diagnosed with hypothroidism and hypercholesteren which are direct results of poor nutrition. Athletes Must Have a Special Diet In each sport, there are many requirements to achieve maximum performance. One of the most important aspects in the athlete’s life is diet, which can negatively impact or positively an athlete’s performance. It is very difficult for a college athlete to have a good diet, especially when athletes eat in the cafeteria and travel a lot. Everyday athletes have to make choices about their alimentation.
The plan on the scheduled agenda made was to identify any major issues we wanted to touch base on during the week of training. As the beginning discussions were being made we had collaboratively identified that the 4 items listed below were to be discussed and added to the agenda for the week in training. Speeds- look at the current settings in the system, discuss what is the “ideal” speeds we should set the test environment to, review speed exceptions, street speed segments, and additional settings in the back ground to set up testing scenarios.
