Football should be a Olympic sport because it is the top watched sport in the USA, and more and more people watch it every day and i would bet you that you have watched the nfl hardest hits. Football is a great sport if you have never played it i would tell you to it if sun and you have to use your brain. And I mean who doesn’t want to watch men hit each other as hard as they can. Everywhere you look you see football every time you watch the sports channel the top headline is football or there is always something about football. Football has been around for a long time, it is one of the oldest sports to date so it has history one of the reasons why it should be an olympic sport. Football should be an olympic sport although not many other countries play the sport they would not be as good as the US but with practice and hard work they could have a chance. Football was played in the 1904 and 1932 olympics the 1904 was played at Francis Field But in reality it was just college teams playing for regular season games. Football has been crowned longer than the telephone. There was 150 million people watching super bowl 50. Football is safer than rugby why Football is played with helmets that have been tested not to give you brain damage you are also given shoulder pads so you won’t get shoulder problems and football pants with 7 pads in them 2 at your knees and 2 at your thighs and 2 at your hips and 1 on your butt these are the reasons why football is safer than rugby. Football hasn’t changed as far the rules of the game since it was started. The only changes have been the gear you wear it makes the game safer for you and the guy you are hitting.
