The Murders of Fox Hollow Farms In the 1990’s in Westfield, Indiana a man by the name of Herb Baumiester would soon be infamous for the murders of around 2 dozen men in Indiana. Herb Baumiester was born on April 7, 1947 and died by suicide on July 3, 1996. He was a business man, who turned into an infmaous serial killer. Many Murderes happen, but The Fox Hollow Farm murderers is one of the biggest murder to happen in Indiana, around 2 dozen men were killed and one man is behind it all, killing himself in the end. The article on CNN, “Police: Remains Found under a Bridge Likely Student Who Vanished in 1998”, starts off with explaining how Robert Kovack had gone missing in 1998 on his way to his parent house in West Virginia. Eighteen Years later there was a body found under the New River Grove Bridge. Turns out there was a wallet and identification confirming that the bones of the body was in fact Kovack. The case has now been reopened and tests are going to be done to figure out what was the cause of death.

Charles Carskaddon, 40, a part-time rodeo worker, his body was found June 6, 1990. He was shot nine times. Troy Burress, 50, a sausage salesman from Ocala, his body was found August 4, 1990, in a wooded area.
The serial killer I am researching is Ed Gein. He was born on August 27, 1906 and died on July 26, 1984. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He lived with his dad, his mom, and his older brother named Henry.
In fact not long after he got out of prison for killing his mother he then tried to abduct three girls and did not get away with it. He was caught and sentenced to three and a half years for the crime and had to serve the whole sentence. After he got out of prison he then moved to Pennsylvania where he married his cousins' ex-wife and worked at a mushroom farm. It is said that he started his killings sporadically over there while working at the farm up until he was accused of molesting his wife's daughters from her previous husband. Though he did end up admitting to molesting the girls he then started drifting throughout the southern part of the USA and committed various killings along the way that involved torcher rape and cannibalism.

The events prior to the Rosewood Massacre, including the origins of the town, the massacre itself and the issues and events that were sub sequential to this catastrophic event all played a major role in the history of African Americans.
