Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci was an Italian Renaissance polymath who did and studied things such as inventing, architecture, science, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, and astronomy. In addition to all of this he is considered one of the best and most widely known painters in the world. While da Vinci was definitely a typical well rounded “Renaissance man” his discoveries within the field of astronomy helped to influence astronomers for generations to come. In addition the studies he do involving the Earth’s moon are still somewhat used today by leading astronomers. Da Vinci even had designed and/or had sketched out versions of the submarine, the helicopter, and the armored tank and many other more simple inventions such as the alarm clock, snorkel, and a version of the robot.
Leonardo da Vinci born in 1452 in Anchiano, Tuscany which is now Italy, close to the town of Vinci that provided the surname we know him by nowadays. During the time he was alive he was known just as Leonardo or as “Il Florentine,” since he had lived near Florence. In addition, da Vinci’s parents weren’t married and his mother, Caterina (who was a peasant) married another man while da Vinci was a young boy and she then started a new family. Leonardo Da Vinci was a painter, inventor, mathematician, and writer in the Renaissance. He became very popular as his work spread across the world. Some of his most popular work is the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, Vitruvian Man, Lady with an Ermine, and Self-portrait. With his work growing in popularity his artwork was looked as a model. With his famous painting, the Mona Lisa, there is a foggy background.
Donatello did amazing Chapel's paintings and sculptures. They are just a few of many that made an impact during the Renaissance. They were amazing painters and sculptors in my opinion. I believe that all of these people were amazing artists, but Leonardo was the most significant artist of his time.

Born on April 15th, 1452 in Vinci, Italy, his beliefs inspired and influenced the Catholic Church in many ways. Leonardo Da Vinci was engrossed in the study of the arts at a young age. He received no formal education beyond the basics of reading, math, and writing. Da Vinci's father helped pursue his art by introducing him to a well-noted painter, Andrea del Verrocchio, of Florence. 1482 Da Vinci began to paint his own commissioned work called The Adoration of the Magi. He ended up relocating to Milan to work for Sforza Clan, as an engineer, architect, painter, and designer, never getting to finish the piece.

Da Vinci was granted the chance to work under Andrea Del Verrocchio, who happened to be an incrediality famous artist in the town of Florence. He worked as the apprentance until he turned twenty-five. After completing his work under Verrocchio, da Vinci worked alone for five years. In 1482 he recieved the chance to work for Duke of Milan.
The Brush of Knowledge Have you ever met anyone that can obtain knowledge with great passion? This man has learned numerous subjects and was magnificently well and teaching them. He has possibly learned about sixteen subjects that he loves. As you can probably already tell this man has an amazing mind and qualities, but the ones that caught my eye is how he has an passion for art and how he came about being a polymath. Certainly you can tell that Leonardo da Vinci was an intelligent man.

Leonardo da Vinci revolutionized art. Da Vinci wanted to know how to paint and create more accurate representations. Being the genius he is, he wanted to know how the eye perceives the world Da Vinci realized that shapes are not surrounded by black lines, they are three-dimensional with just different shades and hues. He discovered that using values as a shading it would create more realistic and rounded figures.

These artists have created a huge impact on the importance of art along with giving more of a historic background.
Leonardo da Vinci was a talented scientist, inventor, painter of the Renaissance europe. Modern scholars referred to him as "the most perfect representative of the Renaissance", is unique in the history of mankind all rounder, his greatest achievement is his masterpiece of painting, "Monalisa", "the last supper", "virgin of the rocks" and other works, reflects his superb artistic attainments. He believes that the most beautiful object of nature is the human body, the human body is a wonderful work of nature, painters should be the core of the object of painting. He is a deep thinking, knowledgeable, versatile painter, astronomer, inventor, engineer.
