Through social media outsiders may see joining a fraternity or sorority as a way of “buying” your friendships. Some may even have a fear of Greek life from hearing of hazing incidents and deaths. But with these portrayals of Greek Life people get the wrong ideas of what it is really is about. Greek Life can build friendships, knowledge, and skills needed for life in and after college.
