Sometimes in life you have to fight or die the story “The Most Dangerous Game” and High Noon show this very well. “The Most Dangerous Game” is about a profession hunter who got stuck on a island with a hunter and to leave he has to play this game where he stays alive for three days when the hunter tries to hunt him. High noon is about a Marshall who sent up a criminal and the criminal got out of jail and is coming for revenge on him, no one will help the Marshall so it’s him verse their gang. Even though High Noon and “ The Most Dangerous Game” are very different, there are many similarities in the theme, and the main character, however there are many differences in the setting also.

Even though the book and the film are different they have very similar theme, that affect the story. "But you can 't mean—" gasped Rainsford” (Conell, 12). General Zaroff tells Rainsford he hunts the one animal that can reason, Rainsford knows only one animal can reason which is human but couldn’t imagine he actually hunted humans. Will is about to beat up Harvey and kill him but then someone says he can’t do that and Will listens. The themes are almost the same because it is when it’s ok to kill men and when it isn’t, it only is ok in self defense of you or another person. All in all the theme in both the story and movie drastically relate and make the story even better in the end.
