1984 was written by George Orwell. This story is about the unwavering control of and enslavement by such a totalitarian government and the other destruction of the individual. Winston’s main character in the book who lived in the totalitarian regime, where everything is controlled even when people spend every minute of their time or in private. Every minute was about “BIG BROTH to IS WATCHING YOU”. In my perspective, people shouldn’t close their eyes to live in this situation. Winston Smith is the closest thing to a hero we have in 1984, a member of the outer party. He worked in the records department in Ministry of truth and Winston had to rewrite and distorted history. Winston thought this society of Oceania is corrupt, his longing for truth and decency causes him that he hated the party so he secretly rebelling against write writing a diary. …show more content…

All at once, this is a cruel policy was occupied by the totalitarian government that happened in Cambodian known as “The Cambodian genocide”. In this regime was killing perhaps 1.5 to 3 million people of 1975-1979. On 17 April 1975, a war regime established throughout Cambodia was killed and expelled from the city. Khmer Rouge used to control people like served the organization, sacrifice for the organization and even relatives had been broken because they only thought of organization be thankful to everyone. Their civil rights were stripped, it was a regime with no school, no market and no money. In addition, Khmer Rouge killed people who had higher education such as teacher, doctor, politician and artist because the Khmer Rouge regime believed that killing such as of people would be a better way. Day by day, Cambodian life became more and more horrible, all occupation had been observed and reported. Eventually, Cambodian was unbearable at this regime so they decided to ask Vietnam for help to support Cambodian comrade in building the armed forces to liberate the
