By questioning people on the streets, he clarifies his position that indeed prophecy seems to be unfolding this very moment and that time may be short. The good news that he presents is that the gospel is available to all who believe. According to scripture there will indeed be a resurgence of evil and it will be as common as in the days of Noah.
