In the year 2004 to the year 2017, many everyday item prices have changed dramatically because of inflation. This makes many items cost much more than what they should cost. For instance, bread and eggs are big examples. There could also be a price difference because of the variety of brands, and the brands trying to compete. This could later affect our society by prices going up, and the prices being too high for items that we need to survive. Overall, many prices are changing from the past more than they should. In 2004, bread was only about $1 and eggs were about $1.30. These prices were great for people who had minimum wage which was only about $5.15. Some famous songs in this year were Yeah!, Dip It Low, Drop It Like It’s Hot, and Game Over. Some popular people who were born in 2004 were,” Annie LeBlanc, Sofia Wylie, and Evie Clair”(famousbirthdays.com). Additionally, some popular video games from 2004 were HALO 2, Doom 3, and Fable. This year, bread costs about $2.50, and eggs are about $2.00. These prices have gone up a lot from the year of 2004, and so have many other prices. Minimum wage now is $10.50 which has gone up SO much. Some famous songs are Shape of You, It ain’t me, Look What You Made me Do, and Swish Swish. Also, some popular people are “Jenna Ortega, Becky G, Miranda Cosgrove, and Kylie Jenner” (famousbirthdays.com). Furthermore, some popular video games are Prey, Call of Duty WWII, and HALO Wars 2. To summarize, 2017 is a great year but the prices are a little too high for me but they will only keep growing higher and
