Many issues are going on that needs to be fixed by the upcoming president. That is one reason we need to make sure we become educated about social issues when elected our next president. It is hard to choose just one social issue that needs to be changed but if I have to pick on it would be terrorism. Terrorism is “the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.” (Dictionary) It is a major issue all around the world and many people are affected by it. It isn’t just people from other countries who commit them but even US citizens have done terrorists acts in America also. I personally think we need to get it under control not just in the United States but all around the world. Since there is no need for innocent people to die because of stupid things others do and especially when saying they are doing it for God.

Especialy since if people that are being brought over have a crime record. But I do agree with Senator Sherrod Brown when he makes the point that “Mostly ‘white males,’ not refugees have committed terrorism in U.S. since 9/11”(Key). This is very true if you look back and people seem to forget this. I think that no matter your race, religion or where you are from that no one should be doing acts of terror. Terrorism affects me personal since anybody including myself could suffer because of this. I haven’t ever had to deal with it by knowing someone that has lost a life from an act or terrorism but many people have. It happens all over and to anyone.
