Men and women prepared themselves for another work day and school children settled in their seats for a day’s lesson. But before the mornings of people’s everyday life could begin, a tragic incident occurred, killing thousands of American citizens and breaking the hearts of many more. B. The events of 9/11 were a highly significant tragedy that had profound global implications. The attacks on the Twin Towers resulted in an immense loss of life, with 2,977 deaths, numerous casualties, and extensive destruction. Beyond the immediate human toll, the attacks triggered far-reaching changes in society and government. They prompted violent military responses and led to the establishment of Homeland Security in the US, accompanied by counter-terrorism campaigns and the enactment of the USA Patriot Act under President George Bush. Moreover, the attacks harmed Islamic views, increasing stereotypes and biases.
The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.
By this standard, Al Qaeda’s attack on the United States on September 11,2011 was a success in that they created a chaos big enough to last in the minds of everyone for eternity. In In order to kill America’s pride, wealth and power, four hijacked planes, with a total of 246 passengers, were turned into bombs and flown into American symbols. Three planes crashed into the World Trade towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth plane was supposedly on track to attack the White House, but, crashed in a Pennsylvania field. A New York rescue worker exclaimed that, “We 're going to look on this as the day everything changed… It just feels like nothing’s ever going to be the same” as a result of the thousands of passengers on the airplanes, policemen, firefighters, emergency workers and regular civilians who died that day without doing anything wrong (Stewart 10).
Many woke up that Tuesday morning expecting to carry on with their daily lives, only to have it pulled out from underneath their feet. Over the course of that morning, four terrorist attacks were orchestrated by the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda, killing a total of 2,977 people and wounding 6,000 more. Life in every corner of America was shaken. Where Americans once felt safe, they now felt vulnerable. Many wondered what was going to happen next, but no one knew.
President Bill Clinton gave a powerful speech to thousands of scared and grieving Americans about the Oklahoma City bombing. Clinton Primarily used ethos and pathos to convince the nation that it could overcome and move forward, and logos to reason with the nation that everything would be okay. The Oklahoma City bombing was a horrific event that still resonates with citizens of the U.S today. The bombing left numerous dead and countless others terrified of what could happen next.
Even though there was a major amount of terror, there is still hope from the day September 11th, 2001. Rafat “RJ” Khalaf, was five years old when the twin towers were crushed. On September 11, 2001, tragedy struck the city of New York. On that fateful day, two airplanes were hijacked by terrorists and flew straight into the twin towers. Each tower fell completely to the ground, taking thousands of lives with it and injuring thousands more. The attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four planes. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.

When thinking about 9/11 this quote comes to mind because on that particular day, the world was reminded how short life really is. This quote also intertwines with 9/11 because it teaches us how there is no time to hate, but to move forward and help each other hand in hand. Even though I was only a year old when September 11th happened, I want to understand this horrific event that went down in history of the United States.

This shows how many people ate affected by acts of terrorism.
