If I were to live in the world represented by the story “A Good Man is Hard to Find”, I would probably be shocked at the display of violence by The Misfit and his gang members. Though I have seen violence and immorality of various forms, one is always shocked when presented with new examples of these types. How The Misfit unsympathetically executes the members of the family reminds me of the workings of a serial killer. Then again, I would be quite appalled at the grandmother’s naivety and lack of good sense. In my view, grandmothers are often the rocks of their families, the fountains of wisdom.
