I have chosen to write the second paper on the Grandmother in Flannery O’Conner’s short story A Good Man is Hard to Find. She is the biggest character in the story and is the most outspoken. She is the Matriarch of the family, but is not treated as such. She is treated with much disrespect, and this doesn’t seem the norm for when the story it written.
