Once upon a time lived a young and beautiful prince known for his ignorance and cold heart. One cold winter’s night, a witch disguised as an old beggar offers him a rose red as blood in exchange for shelter. Spoiled and greedy as he was, he refused and thought the rose was not enough. Poor woman suddenly turned into cruel witch who threw a spell on the young prince. She cursed and transformed him into a dreadful beast. However, he was not the only one who was affected by the curse; all of his servants were turned into household objects. She gave him a magic mirror before hexing the rose and warned him that, he and his servants will forever remain objects and lose their humanity, unless he learned to love another and earned their love in return …show more content…

Soon after that, the Beast flies into a rage, causing Belle to escape from the castle and run into the woods. Wolves attacked her, but the Beast rescued her and got injured in the process. He begins to develop feelings for her while she nurses his wounds so he decided to show her his extensive library. Belle was astonished by the collection and could not believe her eyes. The affection was mutual because she started to like him and saw him changing, for the better. Returning to the village, Maurice tells the townsfolk of Belle's predicament, but Gaston convinces the townsfolk to send Maurice to an insane asylum if Belle refuses to marry Gaston. Meanwhile in the castle, after sharing a romantic dance with the Beast, Belle discovers that her father is in danger using the magic mirror. The Beast releases her to save Maurice, giving her the mirror to remember him with. Back at the village, Belle proves Maurice's sanity by revealing the Beast in the mirror to the townsfolk. Realizing that Belle loves the Beast, Gaston has her thrown into the carriage and takes her to the enchanted forest.
