Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is the first live play I have ever attended. I did not know what to anticipate, especially after hearing numerous accidents occurred during rehearsals. I was a bit skeptical about it. However when the play began, the on-point accents, the rowdy fight scenes, and their fluent moves all caught my attention. The facial expressions the actors and actresses exhibited on their glowing faces made the show enjoyable.

These two themes are related to each other throughout the story as Mrs. Dabney has been a widow twice. Frankie has become an unjoined person who hung around in doorways ,and she was afraid” (McCullers 3). The Member of the Wedding uses the pronoun “it” initially dislocates the reader, for it is unclear as to the subject of the narrator’s revelations.

In Mormonism, there is two wedding that occurs: the temple wedding ceremony and the non-temple wedding. The pre-wedding ritual that a Mormon does to marry in the temple is pretty lengthy. On Monday morning November 2, I was listening to a lecture by Mary Bouquet on “Researching collections, museums and heritage”. In respect of the museum collections and the obtainment of them, she mentioned a pair of 17th century paintings by the Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn. Apparently the Dutch government was trying to buy them for 160 million euros. Later on, at the end of the lecture, a student from the audience asked the exact same question that also had been wandering my mind; is it justifiable for a government to pay such a huge amount of money for an artwork? It seemed that Mrs Bouquet had a hard time answering that question on the spot.
The night was full of dancing and excitement as the couple and their family and friends had the time of their life. At dinner time, we were so humbled when Ahmed and his sister served us food before they sat down to eat. This was one of the kindest and most memorable gestures that we’ve ever received at a wedding. It truly demonstrated how thoughtful and kindhearted Ahmed, Sara and their family are. After a delicious dinner, the reception commenced with more energetic dancing to traditional Muslim wedding music and fun as the families enjoyed eachother’s
