Deadly diseases are things you should really worry about. There are diseases that are very deadly. Some disease could kill you within days maybe even in minutes. There are disease that make you dehydrated and you die. The Bird flu is one of the most deadly diseases.
The Bird flu is a very severe disease that only people who handle sick chickens would get it. In the article “A Killer Strikes” by John Diconsiglio, there was a epidemiologists named Dr. Scott Dowell. Dowell was a epidemiologist. An epidemiologist is a person who studies deadly diseases. Well Dr. Dowell had gotten a call from Thailand. There was a little girl who got sick but he never seen that type of disease. He took samples of the little girls blood and he was testing it. He had figured it out. The disease was caused by birds (Chickens) and it was deadly (pg 254-257). This shows that handling dead chickens that are sick is bad for you because you could get the Bird flu. Therefore Dr. Dowell states that handling dead chickens is bad because you could get the Bird flu. According to the article “ Tiny Invaders” by Kimberly Feltes Taylor, it states that Ebola is the deadliest because you bleed from under your skin and you have very high fevers, but no the Bird flu is the most dangerous. The Bird flu has more symptoms. If you get the Bird flu it is very bad because the symptoms are fever, cough, sore throat, runny and stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, fatigue, headaches, conjunctivitis (eye redness), and difficult in breathing.
