“If you love something, let it go. If it returns, it’s yours; if it doesn’t, it wasn’t.
If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they’re yours; if they don’t they never were.” This quote told by Richard Bach illustrated how true love should be displayed. He purposed that love isn't yours but meant to be shared. In A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, there are many way in which love is troubled and involves determination, indifference and unexpected love.

When Lysander and Hermia are requesting that Egeus and Theseus let them marry. Egues holds a strong take, and doesn’t let them marry, instead he wants Demetrius and Hermia to marry. Lysander and Hermia stayed determined, and there persevering mindset doesn’t let them down in the end. Theseus threatens Hermia “ Either to die the death, or to abjure forever the society of men.”(I.I.11) Throughout the play Hermia stays strong and never gives up on her love for Lysander. Titania refuses to allow Oberon to have the Indian kid as his own and this really upsets their relationship with each other. “What, jealous Oberon?—Fairies, skip hence. I have forsworn his bed and company.” (II.1.3) It would seem that the two would never have a good relationship with each other. Titana being such a strong, beautiful powerful figure is not at all intimidated by Oberon and Oberon being stubborn and so sure of himself, the two may never find themselfs to love one another. Throughout the play Oberon finds himself missing Titania and she finds herself a new lover. Oberon quickly becomes jealous and ends the relationship so can be with Titania. Their relationship may not always be perfect but they rely on one another and they couldn’t be apart they would miss each to
