“Music is present and an integral part of every life celebration: birthdays, holidays, funerals, Quinceañeras, you name it.” Having music around throughout her childhood got her interested in becoming a performer herself.
This was a moment which changed the trajectory of his work, as he had much more time to write music and dive deeper into his artistic exploration. The reason this moment really impacted me was because I have experienced something quite similar through my experience as an aspiring artist. My whole life, I played sports and thought about potentially pursuing them in college. However, my love for theatre and artistic collaboration was always a priority for me. I remember the exact moment where I made the decision to quit sports in order to fully commit to my artistic dreams.
Journey When I was in sixth grade I started playing the cello with very little experience, and with the development I have gone through the past three years has not just made me a better cello player. That experience gave work ethics, and the values of hard work skills to help me through life. Life is like a huge adventure, and it’s the journey that makes the destination worth it. Furthermore, as people move through life they go through a frustrating struggle of attempting to reach a goal, and that destination is nothing without the journey.
Music carries each and every one of us to a new awareness. It can reach to the innermost part of an individual. Music can envelope our emotions from tears all the way to our joy. It captivates and motivates. As I attended a concert on Saturday, November 7, 2015, Lynyrd Skynyrd performed with power and feeling to their audience.
One of my best moments ever was going to Florida. There were so many things to do. We were in Naples, and I got to do some very fun things. I got to go to Sky Zone and it was my birthday, so I got to go to the mall and get a new pair of shoes. Another was that my sister and mother weren’t there to bug me.
“The Yellow Wallpaper”: Psychological, Feminist and Reliability Aspects in the Story The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman does not provide much information about character’s life, but creates a good basis for discussions on different topics. Psychology is one of the main issues in this list. The short story also raises strong feminist issues and makes the reader doubt in the narrator’s reliability. While they have different topics and styles, it can be compared with stories written by different authors, like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Ambrose Bierce or Edgar Alan Poe.
The Appalachian Symphony Orchestra performed, Celebration and Remembrance. The orchestra opened with Fanfare for the Common Man. Which was conducted by Mr. Smith. It was a great way to start off a World War II and Civil War Memorial concert. It was the opening piece and the orchestra was full of energy, and came out loud and with the bang.
As I continued my journey, I reached a bridge. The bridge was terrible. Along the sides there was trash and rubbish. Towards the middle of the bridge, I experienced one of the most touching moments in my life, one of those happy ones where you don’t know if you should shed a tear from happiness or out of despair. There was this little child playing the accordion and another playing a guitar.

I attended to a concert performed by the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra on November 13th this year. This concert took place in the Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. I chose to attend to this concert because I have never been to a performance by any youth orchestra, I was curious to see how their performance would compare to other orchestras. The first of the three piece that were performed in this concert was Maenads’ Dance, from The Bassarids, composed by Hans Werner Henze. A variety of instruments were used in this piece, including woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings.
Music has a powerful impact on people, and can change people in a dramatic way. When people go to concerts, they don’t only listen to the music being played, they also look at what music and songs they are playing or singing, and the order of the songs. The order of the concert has an effect over whether the audience will enjoy the music or not. Above, I listed what I think the order of the songs should be. The concert repertoire should be in this certain order, based on our concert’s intended purpose, what our audience is feeling during the concert, and what Christmas means to each individual in the audience and performing.
At a young age, I constantly wanted to express myself through music. I always found a way to incorporate music into my daily life, whether it be by blasting my favorite music, creating my own funky songs, or even having the opportunity to participate in my elementary school choir. My love for music actually took flight after I had decided to join my elementary school choir, however, in my opinion, it is not the most transformative moment in my life. After elementary
Modern Era The Modern Era is the time period in musical development that began around the turn of the 20th century in which great changes in compositional techniques and styles took place. This era challenged and reinterpreted old styles of music, making it a time of great innovation. Although homophonic textures were used, they were used with less importance and the most dominant texture of the Modern era was contrapuntal texture.
An experience that was meaningful to me was the time that my entire family and I went to Disney from July 1st,2010 to July 14th,2010 it was such a great experience. Jumping with excitement the first time that I found out (Participle). It was going to be my first big trip with my mom’s boyfriend who is now my dad. This was a trip that was holding such a big surprise at the end of it.
As time and age inch around the corner, the items that are gathered throughout the years become memorabilia. Many of those items are valued less because there was not much love that went into making them. However, my parents are true reminders that homemade gifts are greater than any store-bought gift. Since I was a baby, Christmas has been a magical time of year for my family. There were red and green lights glimmering around the house, family members smiling, and mounds of gifts underneath the tree just waiting to be ripped open by my little hands.
