Night is a book written by Elie Wiesel in which he tells his stories and experiences in the Nazi concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald during the Holocaust and Second World War. I would recommend Night because it’s written by someone who felt the horror of the Nazism in his own skin, so the book really shows the reality of the death camps and the atrocities that happened there.
It is important to study and know about the Holocaust because it’s a terrible event which, in a historic perspective, occurred not long ago and its effects are still present in today’s society in such a negative way.
