In the story A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a family thinks that the coming of the angel is a pain. At first they think that the angel is sent by the devil so they lock him up in the chicken coop, but the next day their sick child wakes up fresh and healthy. Later many people come to see the angel, he is hurt and used by the people. Finally, the family itself treats the angel badly even after he helped them so much. All these people hurt the man so much. Even when they do this, he remains calm, he does not do anything to the people. The family even use him as a way to make money.
