We as a society strive to mold the best possible future for generations to come. What influences our political and societal decisions? We are faced today with ongoing racism, sexism, and injustices in government rulings. Not only in the United States, but all around the world we have seen humanity shift with the rise in educated people. With the importance of education in society, we hopefully make the right progressive steps into molding ourselves into the civilization we aspire to be. Evidence suggests that education levels impact a person's outlook on the society around them.

Education is something that just about everyone in the U.S. has access to. Education can lead us to getting an even higher education, get better jobs, etc. But can a person’s education level impact their political ideology and worldview? As shown in the article, “A Wider Ideological Gap Between More and Less Educated Adults,” those who are more highly educated seem to be more liberal than those who aren’t as educated (9). A majority of liberals in America have a relatively higher educational level compared to conservatives(Ref:Page), so one would assume that if you are educated you would lean towards the liberal side. The assumption that if your educated you'll be liberal is incorrect. Republicans and conservatives in power are educated, most times at a higher education level than their democratic liberal counterparts(ref:page:).
