The process of writing a paper in general can be tedious and this paper was my most complex paper. In my opinion, there is more of a challenge in writing a research paper than any other paper that can personalized. Before starting the paper I had to first decide on a specific question from the topic of food. That is one aspect that was troubling. There are so many angles on food and deciding on what to focus on left me with questions on what was of most importance, what is the focus right now, and can this question lead to enough data and opposing arguments. Through the research and data found I was able to make a convincing argument and conclude the paper. Even though, I have completed the overview paper, I desired to have known specifics when it came to writing in APA format as well as citing sources. As a whole the paper was effortless, but the bibliography created challenges such as the order and finding information that needed to be included in the source. I wish that I had a clear understanding of citing sources before I started. Overall, I found that I wrote with ease and an appreciation to complete my research paper. I enjoyed the learning experience and insight to the food industry. This experience is just one of many to come and having background information helped. Now, I will have confidence in writing my argument paper as I have already gained an understanding of my topic, have the information, and know how to form the bibliography. After working on the long term project for a semester I found understanding in the tedious task of writing a paper again.
