In order to convey a message author sometimes breaks away from the traditional way of portraying a protagonist. They do this to maybe go against other books written within the same genre or to make them stand out. Some books that have exhibited this characteristic are; Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, and the fairy tale The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter. In each of these stories, the author creates a protagonist that goes against the norms of the genre.
While the fetus is developing in the incubator/large container, if it has the same physical and psychological aspects as it would while in the mother’s womb, some of the issues against abortion may be eliminated. The concern anti-abortionists have with eliminating the fetus may no longer be. The women who prefer an abortion, still have that option, but they will not be killing the fetus. Anti-abortionists would prefer the incubator/large container method over an abortion because you are not killing a fetus. Many babies would be given a future that they may not have been given prior to the incubator/large container option.
Many people think having a child is easy and continue having to go through pregnancy until they realize they can't afford to keep it, so some would rather abort it rather than having a baby. In my opinion, if you knew and are aware you might get pregnant doing things you shouldn't do or just want to do for fun you should be responsible for whatever happens to you and act and own up to what you have done instead of running away with the problems you created. People are so quick to judge others according to why they get an abortion and don't know how its life and can't really understand or put their finger onto why people do this, but everyone has their own story and reasons to why they do. Sometimes people blame the person getting an abortion for getting pregnant in the first place due to not knowing why they got pregnant in the first place. Some people even get blamed for getting raped and saying how they asked for it when it wasn't their fault in the first place.
My final paper will be on one of the most controversial issues: abortion, where both sides of the controversy having equal supporters. Not to mention that both sides have the same common goals of making abortions safe and decreasing the number of abortions. Abortion is surrounded by many questions, as it is that the terms definition should not be in question.
