Abortion is Immoral
Abortion is immoral for many reasons. One main reason abortion is immoral is because it involves the murder of innocent and developing children. Next, women who get abortions are at an increased risk for health problems later in life including breast cancer and depression that even leads to suicide in many cases. Not only do abortions end lives of innocent children, but a fetus can even feel pain at eight weeks of age. Last, abortions are wrong because they play into the culture that all things are disposable if they are inconvenient.

The baby feels both psychological and real physical, organic pain. It's understood by the medical community that the ability to detect/perceive pain is developed in the first trimester. The unborn child's mouth is developed at eight weeks, then his/her hands at ten weeks, then his/her face, arms and legs at eleven weeks become sensitive to touch. This just means the baby is not only going to die but is suffering with the pain because of the decision you’re making. If someone murders a pregnant woman they're automatically charged with two counts of murder so this should fall into the same category as abortion. Women in Utah seeking an abortion after twenty weeks or more into pregnancy will be given anesthesia or painkillers for the fetus. Giving painkillers will help the fetus from suffering pain since they can perceive pain from eight weeks on. The biggest question is, who’s making the decisions for the child? Abortion not only is murder but the fetus can feel pain at an early age of eight weeks. Lastly, abortion plays into the culture that all things are disposable if they are inconvenient.
