According to Nair et. al. (2007), men and women are alike, a smooth and bright skin with an ideal body shape for a wonderful life.Generally, the visual appearance, especially to facial attractiveness, helps to construct one's self-esteems and self-images. Indeed, positive self-concepts highly affect a person's beliefs and attitudes about personal skills, abilities, social relationships and future outcomes (Heatherton &Wyland, Assessing self-esteem Ch14. p219-233).Hence, this study attempts to investigate the correlation of facial skincare products usage on general self-esteem (SE) and academic self-concepts (ASC), and grade point average (GPAs) among male students. “The use of skincare product” measures how many times of subjects’ skincare products usage in a week. In specific, skincare products relates to any goods that provide the maintenance and treatment against the hygienic of the skin under optimal conditions of sanitation and comfort, or attending to someone or something such as facial foam,moisturizing creametc.(Draelos&Thaman, 2006). Furthermore, male shaving products are ruled out because of the commonness. Thereupon, “skincare product” only includes any facial commodities, excluding shaving products. 2. “General self-esteem (SE)”is defined as the positive or negative value placed on one’s own attributes (Enger, 1993; Bell, 2009), or the relative degree of worthiness, or acceptability, which people perceive their self-concept to possess(Rosenberg, 1965; Enger; Bell, 2009). It is measured with Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale(1965) and its Cronbach's alpha is over 0.8. 3. “Academic self-concept(ASC)”, a sub-domain of general self-concept, indicates students’ perceptions of their academic ability formed in conjunction with peers, teachers and parents (Marsh, 1987; Marsh &Hau, 2003; Liu & Wang, 2008; Yorke, 2013). In specific, it contains two relevant factors, academic confidence and academic effort which are assessed by Academic Self-Concept Questionnaire (ASCQ) developed by Liu, Wang and Parkins (2005). Next, the mutual effect of individual hygiene, SE and ASC on GPAs is illustrated by the technique of multiple-regression. Expected Results Author expects that there are positive correlations in three combinations, personal habits to SE, to ASC and to GPAs, so that simple regression provides evidence to show the predictive property of individual usage of facial skincare products. As well, the multiple-regression can yield the mutual effect of using personal hygiene goods to SE to ASC on GPAs. Feasibility Strengths Using self-administrated questionnaire enjoys two advantages.  Questionnaires can collect large amounts of unobservable data in short time, say, attitudes and beliefs.  Costs of research operations and participants are relative lower than experimental designs. Weakness There are two potential risks and corresponding suggestions that increase the probability of successful data collections.  Conducting pilot test is purposed to revise or remove some unclear terms of questions.  Training helpers aims to decrease the time consumption to collect data as well as increase the respondent
