This is the beginning of a new persona for Malcolm. Having recently converted to Islam, he is suddenly enlightened and that is show in the conciseness of his train of thought here. The choppy and brief sentences show that he no longer has a need for additional
Sometimes he tried too hard to make sense of the world.” (pg 18) McCandless spent too much time thinking of the world's flaws, it pained him, in turn he chose to live a type of transcendental life. The life that ultimately bid him death, a big part of it at least. The second part that ruined him to this life was his tendency to act out of anger.

Title Researchers and scientists have constructed extensive research on dinosaur’s extinction. Speculation instead of real evidence seems common in most theories about the dinosaurs’ extinction. However, Jay Gould’s essay “Sex, Drugs, and the Extinction of Dinosaurs” is the complete opposite of speculation over evidence. Rather, Gould uses the mix of persuasive techniques, such as rhetorical questions, logos, along with profound evidence to not only disapprove of other theories but convince readers of his place on the dinosaur’s extinction.

The statement is about how scientist have “grunt work” and “tedious work” work, boring and long. The series of rhetorical questions succeeding are purposely directed toward the audience, in order to have something to think on. Barry questions, “ would a pick be best, or would dynamite be better…?” These types of questions are asked upon the audience but is not expected of them to answer. Barry then uses a simile to compare the perfect tool to mice, “the perfect tool will be available...
A song that truly inspires me is one by Dierks Bentley called “Riser”. Dierks Bentley is a country music artist who was more popular in the early 2000’s, but recently has become popular again. He is one of my favorite artists. I was actually supposed to see him in concert this summer, however found out in June that I would have to have surgery two days before he was to arrive in concert in Virginia.

He believes that education is essential if the black community wants to fight against the injustice and take a stand for equality of their civil liberties. His assumption that he is speaking to a group comprised of under-educated black Americans is what allows Malcolm X to inspire this audience to go against the white community and fight for equality. This is still relevant today as showcased by members of the Black Lives Matter movement who are still fighting for justice and equality for black Americans and are protesting for an end to discrimination and racism as more and more unarmed black Americans are being shot and killed by the police all around the United
Mostly it is really related to the ethical issues and technical issues. There are some logistical and ethical questions arise and why the scientists should considered before go through with recreating extinct species. With the massive idea to create new mammoth, people argue on where they would live and if they would live comfortable and safe lives. Besides, with the decision to bring back mammoth to life, scientists should be prepared with what will the mammoths eat? Scientists assumed that the diet would be same with the current living elephants including grasses, shrubs and all.
Richard Wright’s father (Nathan Wright) has impacted and shaped Richard by making Richard’s young life full of anger, sorrow, and sadness and his grown life full of skepticism, regret, and emptiness. This is shown when Richard briefly writes about his father. Wright recalls and describes what his father looks like to him as well as how their relationship was, “He was the lawgiver in our family and I never laughed in his presence. I used to lurk timidly in the kitchen doorway and watch his huge body sitting slumped at the table….He was quite fat and his bloated stomach always lapped over his belt. He was always a stranger to me, always somehow alien and remote”

He even goes as far as saying, “I now wish I had never shot the moose. One of the greatest tragedies of my life” (Krakauer 167). Another example of McCandless’ mental unpreparedness can be seen when he was discovered by Ken Thompson, Gordon Samel and Ferdie Swanson. They found the letter that said, “S.O.S. I need your help. I am injured, near death, and too weak to hike out of here.
