To ensure the safest possible environment for our competitive cheer athletes, I would treat them like all the other organizations on campus. First I would gather a team to assist in developing a risk management plan and strategies. They will be in charge of reviewing all eligibility rules, physical examinations, and making sure we have the proper insurance and liability coverage. We would then have a meeting with all athletes in the program, their parents if available, the coaching staff, and the committee who developed the plan to discuss the risk management plan, warning, consent, possible injuries, rules, and all safety measures we expect from anyone participating in the program. We would then have everyone sign a form of documentation stating
On 11/5/16 at approximately 1554 hrs, I was dispatched to a fight at Davis Field (6050 78th Ave N, Pinellas Park FL). Upon my arrival I made contact with Yakail Brunson who advised herself and her sister was battery by a group of individuals at the game. Brunson was crying and was in distraught at the moment, I told her to relax and explain the details. Brunson advised she was jumped by multiple subjects in the crowd because she asked the Lakewood cheerleader coach why niece daughter wasn’t cheering.
It was awesome when my sister’s cheer team Synergy got first place at her cheer competition and won a trip to Orlando, Florida. Then we went to The Mall of America and went to the amusement park and road rides. Then later we went to dinner with all the girls on the cheer team at Dicks Last Resort, i would recommend going here if you're ever at The Mall of America. For the reasons above this trip to The Mall of America was totally amazing.
Although the set up of a cheerleading competition may seem a little difficult and unusual; the same concepts of other sports apply to cheerleading as well. The USASF Cheerleading World Championships is one of the most prestigious competitions competitive cheerleaders have to the opportunity to complete in. Teams travel from all over the world in order to get a chance to become the worlds greatest. The all time cheerleading brand, Varsity Spirit, is one of the top cheerleading associations that holds competitions that house thousands of athletes and spectators in one large arena. Even though meets every criteria of a sport, skeptics still continue to argue that cheerleading does not qualify as a sport.
On March 11, 2017 the world’s best all-star cheerleading teams will be at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in DisneyWorld for the most prestigious cheer competition of the year. The teams there have qualified by getting bids from regional and national competitions, similar to how gymnasts qualify for large meets by competing well in smaller meets. Throughout the competition hundreds of teams will perform their routine filled with the most elite tumbling and stunting sequences ever performed. The tosses and baskets will be so high that if they were performed in a smaller building the flyers, or girls in the air, would hit the ceiling. The tumbling will be so fast and so powerful that if someone was to radar gun the pass, they would be going over

It was the moment I had been practicing for. I was finally going to try out for my middle school cheer team and hopefully make it. I was so excited I could barely focus on my classes that day. I had run through all of the steps at least 50 times that day. I had always wanted to do cheerleading and this was my moment to do it.

When I tried out for cheer I was hoping to add a new spin in my own life, but what I didn’t realize is that I would soon have to focus my orbit around a new center of gravity, the squad. Only after you join a team do you truly understand what the word commitment means. Making cheer was a turning point in my life for multiple reasons, one being because I had a real commitment to others.

Cheerleading is a sport that has two different definitions. Cheerleading is considered to be a sport where it incorporates gymnastics and dance moves into a performance. The other type of cheerleading incorporates cheers and loud voices to encourage sports teams as they perform.
The passionately about doing someday is to be on the biggest cheerleading team in america”The Great White Sharks”. What i'll have to do to accomplish this dream someday and what struggles might I encounter during this accomplishment and to reflect on it. It will be super hard because the best is on Great Whites I have to be the best if I want to be on that team and be very big at cheer competitions. I will go threw a lot in my life because I could not become something that I really want to become. I want to be apart of the biggest cheerleading team in the world which will be very very hard I will have to move out of country, I would have to move to Canada to accomplish my dream of being on my team.

As a student in highschool, I contribute to numerous teams. I participate in cheerleading for varsity football and basketball. For cheerleading we all work together and create cheers and dances that we perform at games. We also are assigned to compose cheers by ourselves to teach the whole squad. I have been a cheerleader for three years now.
My goal in life is to become an athlete, specifically a cheerleader. In my four years of cheering I have been impacted by many ups and downs, like school. The athlete’s below are amongst many of my favorite, and also were able to overcome the many obstacles thrown their way. One of my favorite athletes would have to be tennis player Serena Williams. Serena is my favorite athlete because of her many accomplishments she has made throughout her career, one being have the most major singles, doubles, and mixed doubles titles combined amongst active players, male or female.
The factors of being a sport are; having athletic ability, competitions, championships. Right now, cheerleading is three for three. Cheerleading contains stunting and tumbling which fall under athletic ability. Also, there are thousands of cheerleading competitions held each year, and championships. Just last year the International Olympic committee agreed with cheerleaders everywhere that cheerleading is a sport.
I have been cheerleading for the past 7 years, and truly love it. Ever since a young girl, I have admired the Perrysburg High School cheerleaders. Cheerleading helps me express myself, and define who I am as a person. Cheerleading has been my passion since a young girl, and I have a true love for it. Cheerleading has helped me grow as a person, and has helped me become more confident in myself.
