Achilles is a mythological character who is described as brave, fearless, and short tempered. Despite Achilles being born mortal his mother Thetis dipped him in the Styx River in order to make him immortal like her. This new trait allowed Achilles to be a great solider as he was now fearless of death. However Achilles did have a weakness which was his heel which his mother held him when she dipped him in the river. Achille's heel was the only vulnerable part that could lead to his death. Achille's fearless and immortal traits made him heroic and admirable within the Greeks and the Romans. However Achilles also possessed many human like traits such as being short tempered.
