Foster prayed the role of Iris was controversial character because she played a role of twelve years old as a prostitute who was only thirteen years old at the time. Also she was first nominated for Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress which became popular after playing the role in the “Taxi Driver”. However, this film simultaneously influenced various aspects for Jodie.
