Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin: A Clash of Kings The leadership style of leaders may differ drastically; even those within the same political bracket may be complete opposites. But when it comes to Nazism leader Adolf Hitler and Stalinism leader Joseph Stalin, there are many similarities and differences. Both of them were masters of propaganda and the use of fear and confidence. But when it comes to the state of the country and economy, Stalin takes it. Hitler was a powerful leader, but Stalin outdid him on every front. Stalin started his life as a peasant in the Gori, which is now the Republic of Georgia. He was forced to learn Russian, as it was the instructional language. He attended school to become a priest at his mothers’ will. While he was in school he began reading illegal literature, like Das Kapital by Karl Marx (“Stalin, Joseph”). He then converted to Russian Marxism and his interest in politics continued to grow. Hitler was very charismatic, and he used this to make everyone basically worship him. His inner hate just poured out of him and into anyone willing to listen. He blamed all problems on others, saying that the German people were perfect and not at fault. He used this as fuel to the burning machine that is the German people.
