The Nazi capture of power has come to occupy a rather peculiar position in the history of Germany. This significance rests more on what happened after 1933 when Adolf Hitler and his Nazi group lead the greatest mass movement with the broadest popular appeal that Germany had ever seen. The persecution of Jews, the downfall of the Weimar Republic and the appeal to the public of Germany through propaganda has jet packed the Nazis and Hitler to power through the themes of war, racism, anti-Semitism, violence and order explains and demonstrates how the Nazis rose to power.

They sought this through appealing directly to the interests of each class and sector within the electorate, effective propaganda which promised as many forms of recovery and regeneration as there were needs and hopes for them (Bessel, 2004). The other was to guarantee catholic liberties in exchange for any member of the centre party opposed to Hitler’s measures (Bessel, 2004).
