CONTINOUS PRODUCTION Continuous process is used for very large-volume products that are very homogenous. The system is highly programmed and is naturally in operation continuously 24 hours a day. The output is also continuous, individual units are measured. Steel, paper, paints, chemicals, and foodstuffs are produced by continuous production. Labor is not used much in this process. Highly operating machines and operator are required to run out the process of production. Usually these process are called robotic or machine process. The products made by this process are in large volume usually of same characteristics. The companies which produce these products or the companies which operate in this way are called process industries. There are many examples of continuous production which includes cloth production in large volume, paints production, steel companies, paper production, and many chemicals.
