National Hunting License Should a person be required to purchase multiple hunting licenses to hunt multiple states each season? For many years, hunters have been required to buy another license if they are out of state hunters. This issue has been costing hunters a lot of money. Another issue that a state hunting license causes is that it is not time effective. Instead of having to purchase multiple state licenses, there should be another option for hunters. Hunting licenses are bought each year for people to hunt a state. If hunters plan on hunting, they are required to purchase a license. The license covers that state and is valid during one season only. A state hunting license allows a person to hunt in specific regions across the state. One of the positive side effects, is that all the revenue spent on state hunting licenses is rationally put back into wildlife habitats throughout the state. Another positive concept when buying a state hunting license, is that it allows the state to know how many hunters are in that state. There are several negative side effects when buying a state license. For example, it limits the hunter to only hunting the state that license is issued in.
